Euphrates Shield Area Governance Structures 2017-2018.
Under the Informing the Transformation, Sustainability and Transition Process in Syria project, SAI has conducted a research analyses in Euphrates Shield Area. The objective of this research was to generate a better overview of local governance structures and practices in the area, provide the local and international actors with a more accurate view of the present conditions and patterns of local governance, investigating the functions, practices, challenges and evolution characterizing both formal and informal local governance structures and mechanisms as well as the way these structures are perceived by the population in these areas.
