Strategy Aid International is an independent Strategy, Development, Research and Capacity Building Institution that conducts and facilitates action-oriented Strategies and learning that informs and influences policy and practice.

Strategy Aid International actively promotes a culture of research and learning by strengthening analytical capacity in Syria and by creating opportunities for analysis, thought and debate. Fundamental to Strategy Aid’s vision is that its work should support government institutions, NGOs and improve vulnerable Syrian communities.

Strategy Aid International is a resource providing access to social and political material on Syria. Strategy Aid strategy is to develop a range of resource materials that inform social and political debate in the region and raise the profile of conflict research and recovery on Syria.

WHAT WE WILL DO: Strategy Aid International mandate

A: Institutional and professional development: Through this programme, SAI's aim to support institutional capacity of the public sector, CSOs and individuals by providing a different professional capacity training with focus on:
- Conflict analyses and theory of change
- Strategy development
- Alternative sources of financing
- Support for project implementation
- Public sector reform and development
- CSOs capacity development

B: Programme development:
- Democracy and peacebuilding
- Women and youth empowerment
- Community development

C: Research analyses and monitory and evaluation:
- Develop researches, analysis, policies, statements
- Baseline, endline, monitoring
- Third Party Monitoring & Evaluation (TPM)
- Impact/sector evaluation
- Advocacy



KEY PRINCIPLES
- Strategy Aid works in partnership with all sectors.
- Provide key evidence to inform policies and debate from data system, research, surveys and platform.
- Facilitate access to other policies relevant information.
- Present information in a range of formats through available resources.
- Focus is SYRIA but where appropriate Strategy Aid ensure SYRIA is included in national and international re-search.
- Seek and respond to opportunities that fit within Strategy Aid overall mission.
